The Nevada Diabetes Association runs camps for children and young adults living with diabetes. We've been their development team for almost a decade, building Views EMR into the system that runs those camps end to end. We've built every part of it: online registration and payment, admin and camp-management tools, medical charting, live dashboards, and the post-camp reporting that closes out each session.
The clinical core is device data. Views EMR integrates directly with Dexcom and Abbott continuous glucose monitors, so a camper's blood-sugar history, time-in-range and events are on screen for the medical staff instead of being read off a phone. Counselors and nurses check campers in and out, log medications and site changes, and chart against real data.
We also run the infrastructure. Camp season is a huge spike and the rest of the year is quiet, so we scale the environment up ahead of the busy months and back down afterward. The platform holds up when every camp is live, without paying for that capacity in the off-season. Weekly cadence calls with the NDA team keep a steady stream of improvements going into the product.
Families enroll campers and pay online; staff manage rosters, forms and approvals from the admin side.
